King Abdullah II of Jordan met with the German President Joachim Gauck in Berlin Wednesday to discuss ways to forge closer ties between Jordan and Germany as well as the latest regional and international developments, Petra News Agency reported.
During the meeting, which was held here, the two leaders voiced their keenness to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries, mainly in the political, economic and development fields.
They also stressed the importance of maintaining coordination and consultations on regional and international issues of concern to both countries as well as the need to preserve peace, security and stability in the Middle East and the world.
