Iraqi president meets Palestinian ambassador

Iraqi President Fuad Masum met on Tuesday with Palestinian Ambassador in Baghdad Ahmed Aqel who stressed his country's support for Iraq in its fight against Daesh militant group.
During the meeting, the Palestinian diplomat expressed hope that Iraq would eliminate Daesh's threats which face not only Iraq but also the whole world.
The two sides also discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two countries.
