International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr met Monday with French Development Agency (AFD) Cairo Office Director Stephanie Lanfranchi to discuss future cooperation between Egypt and France.
The meeting took up projects that can be implemented in cooperation with the AFD and in accordance with needs of the Egyptian people and priorities of the Egyptian government.
Nasr hailed as "strong" relations between Cairo and Paris at the political and economic levels.
She and Lanfranchi also talked about preparations for a visit by Laurence Breton-Moyet, Director of Operations at the AFD to Egypt, on March 27.
A number of agreements in the fields of health, sanitation, transport and energy will be signed on the sidelines of Breton-Moyet's visit, Nasr said.
The AFD office in Egypt was established in January 2007 as the financial arm of the French government to help bankroll important projects in the Arab country.
