HM King receives US ambassador, Naval Forces

 His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck who introduced to him outgoing Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and Fifth Fleet Admiral Kiven M.Donegan and Admiral Jhon Aquilino , the new Commander.

HM the King lauded deep-rooted and growing historic relations between Bahrain and the USA and solid partnership between both countries mainly in the military and defence field. He stressed that the Bahraini-US relations have been built for decades on mutual respect and coordination for the best interest of both countries and peoples.

HM King Hamad commended the efforts of Admiral Kiven M.Donegan to bolster bilateral cooperation mainly in the military and defence field, wishing Admiral Jhon Aquilino every success in his new duties. He hailed the role of the US administration, in cooperation with allies and friends, to foster regional and international peace, security and stability.

HM the King conferred Bahrain Medal of the First Class on Admiral Kiven M.Donegan in appreciation of his efforts to further cement ties between the two friendly countries, wishing him success in his future duties.
