Pakistan on Friday celebrated the much-awaited verdict of Panama Papers case, in which the Supreme Court (SC) disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on corruption allegations.
The jubilant people across the nation offered prayers to thank Almighty Allah, following the SC verdict across the country. Some of the opposition parties’ activists, especially Pakistan Tekrik-e-Insaf (PTI), distributed sweets.
But some of the Sharif ‘s supporters were disappointed and reacted angrily to the SC ruling.
The Gulf Today spoke to Pakistanis to know their feelings about the apex court verdict against PM.
PTI’s UAE chapter President Haji Mir Hassan congratulated the nation and Pakistani expats on historical verdict.
