Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy met on Friday with Manager of World Bank's Middle East and North Africa Department Benoit Blarel and his accompanying delegation.
They discussed means of boosting bilateral relations in environment fields especially climate change.
They also tackled World Bank's bid to support Egypt in preparing a study on economic assessment concerning the management of air and water quality.
Blarel asserted that the WB is supporting Cairo in an African initiative on climate change especially that Egypt is presiding over the African environment ministers' conference.
The WB current policy aims to support Egypt, Blarel stressed, adding that the bank will increase the funding of projects in Egypt.
