Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Solar One Company general manager Rami Khalifa who presented to the minister the latest prototypes of cladding panels produced by the company.
The panels are available in various colours and of an aesthetic design. These panels are mounted vertically on the facade of buildings and are more efficient than horizontally-mounted panels.
The minister praised the progress in the field of solar panels, especially in the light of rapid growth witnessed by the construction sector in Bahrain, and said this technique is a positive step towards the contribution of the sector to achieve the national percentage of renewable energy.
Jahan Al-Marbati, Executive Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit was also present during the meeting
