Egypt's Ambassador in New Delhi Hatem Tageddin discussed on Monday with President of the Federation Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Jyotsna Suri means of boosting bilateral ties.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the diplomat reviewed the government's efforts to improve the economic conditions in Egypt.
He also reviewed the giant projects which are being carried out in Egypt, including the Suez Canal Corridor Development project.
He noted the growth of the economic relations between Egypt and India.
"The bilateral trade exchange reached 5 billion dollars in 2014 and the Indian investments grew to 2.5 billion dollars," said the diplomat.
