Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed Sunday with his Libyan counterpart Mohamed Taher Siala the latest developments in Libya.
The get-together was held on the fringe of Paris Peace Conference.
They discussed boosting the bilateral ties and Egypt’s efforts to help reach a consensus among the Libyan rivals.
Shoukry has held several meetings with Arab and foreign ministers and officials on the sidelines of the international conference to discuss issues of mutual concern, topped by the Palestinian cause and events in Libya.
Shoukry represents Egypt to the Middle East peace conference, currently held in Paris, France, to revive the Middle East peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
At least 70 countries are participating in the peace conference in the French capital in an effort to lay an international framework for a two-state solution between the Palestinians and Israelis, who are absent at the event.
