Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today the Malaysian Minister of Defence and Minister with Special Functions, Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, and his accompanying delegation.
Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Yussef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were also present.
The commander-in-chief affirmed that the Malaysian Minister’s visit aims to strengthen military cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed lauded the depth of the Bahraini-Malaysian relations, and their steady progress, stressing the importance of such visits in strengthening friendship relations between the two countries.
Director of the BDF General Command’s Court, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, and Director of Military Cooperation, Rear Admiral Mohammed Hasim Al-Sada, also attended.
