King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain late Wednesday received Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi, who conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah II’s greetings and wishes to Bahraini people of further progress and prosperity.
King Hamad asked the minister to convey his greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah II as well as his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Jordanian people.
The meeting, which was attended by Bahraini Minister of the Royal Court, Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, tackled means to enhance bilateral relations and ways to cement cooperation and coordination in various domains.
His Majesty King Hamad praised the brotherly and historical ties between the two Kingdoms and stressed keenness to improve them in all fields.
King Hamad also voiced Jordan’s stance towards Bahrain and its role in defending Arab and Islamic issues as well as enhancing regional and international security, stability and peace.
The minister hailed the efforts of the Bahraini King to promote relations between the two countries and his country’s role in supporting the joint Arab action, stressing Jordan’s rejection of any threats to the security and stability of Bahrain.
Safadi and his Bahraini counterpart, discussed the prospects of increasing cooperation as well as the latest developments related to re-launching efforts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state solution, the Syrian crisis and the war on terrorism.
The two misters also reiterated the need for concerted efforts to achieve regional security and stability.
