Information Affairs Undersecretary Abdulrahman Mohammed Bahar today received a delegation from Yonhap News Agency in South Korea.
The undersecretary underlined the ministry’s keenness on activating memoranda of cooperation between Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and various international news agencies and benefiting from their technical expertise.
He also stressed determination that Bahrain’s news and development achievements reach the world.
The Korean delegation gave an overview of the International News Exchange (PNN) project that will be launched by Yonhap and that BNA intends to join as part of its expansion plans to various news platforms.
The delegation welcomed the advanced level of media cooperation attained by the two countries, highlighting keenness that international news agencies benefit from media exchange.
BNA Acting Director-General and Vice President of the Federation of Arab News Agency (FANA) Muhannad Sulaiman was present.
