President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met here today at the Presidential Palace in Baku, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, who is now on an official three-day visit to Baku.
The Secretary General presented comprehensive briefing on OIC’s current and future initiatives and plans, mainly focusing on various regional and international issues, ways and means of expanding bilateral relations. Council During this first official visit in his capacity as an OIC Secretary General to Azerbaijan, Dr. Al-Othaimeen met with a number of senior officials including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
