Mohammed Khamis Al Muhairi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, and Minister’s Advisor for Tourism Affairs, stated that winning the award for the second year in this international and regional platform for co-operation and tourism promotion "is consistent with the nation’s efforts to promote the tourism sector and its attractive destinations on an international level, under the framework of a comprehensive strategy that aims to focus on the UAE as a tourist destination."
He added that winning the award represents another step on the tourism sector development path, and proves the importance of the joint national efforts to achieve greater success and future accomplishments.

The pavilion was well received by a large audience due to its attractiveness and the skills of its representatives, he added.
