Sharjah ruler meets Arab theatre artists

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah met on Saturday at the Sultan Al Qasimi Centre for Gulf Studies the artists taking part in the 6th Arab Theatre Festival. Sheikh Sultan welcomed the Arab theatre artists and discussed with them the role theatre is playing on the advancement of communities. During the meeting, Sheikh Sultan announced the establishment of a fund which he will finance to help theatre artists. He also called for holding an annual forum for the artists to tackle issues relating to Arab theatre.
