Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), RCO’s summer activities, organised in cooperation with Lulu Hypermarket Company under the theme "the Summer of Skills", concluded.
RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed paid a visit to the activity, met participants and supervisors and was informed about the students’ achievements.
He lauded Shaikh Nasser’s keenness to support such programmes that aim to hone the skills of the RCO’s affiliates. He also praised Lulu Hypermarket’s continuous support to the orphans through various programmes, in line with the social partnership principle.
He added that RCO, following directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, its Honorary President, and under the leadership of Shaikh Nasser, would carry on activities orphans and widows, out of its humanitarian mission, outlined by HM the King.
He wished continuous cooperation between RCO and the trade sector, affirming the importance of the fruitful cooperation with Lulu Hypermarket in allowing RCO’s young affiliates to take advantage of their free time, promoting educational and patriotic values among them and building their personalities.
The "Summer of Skills" programme included a variety of activities for 100 children, aged 6 to 12 years old, registered with RCO to tap on their talents under the supervision of specialised teams.
The summer activity is an annual programme organised by RCO to foster patriotism and help children use their free time to develop their skills and click on their potentials.
