The Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage will take part in the 6th Bosphorus Regional Cooperation Summit organized by the International Cooperation Platform (ICP) and slated for Istanbul in next December.
Qatar will participate with a night on the Qatari culture which will feature Qatari folk arts as well as plastic art and costumes exhibitions.
This was stated Director of the Ministry's Culture and Arts Department Falih Ajlan Al Hajri said after a meeting with a Turkish delegation led by President of the Turkish International Cooperation Platform Jenkiz Ozkenjil .
Al Hajri said the Ministry will take part in the Summit which will be held in Istanbul during the period from 8 to 10 December, 2015, noting that the participation will provide an adequate opportunity for displaying Qatari arts, heritages and costumes before representatives of more the 70 world countries represented at the Summit.
The Turkish International Cooperation Platform's choosing of the State of Qatar to be the guest of honour at this big international event, confirms the outstanding relations between the two countries, Al Hajri said pointing out the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage is preparing a remarkable cultural and artistic programme for the event.
