Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan has today inspected the 6th Summer Camp and was briefed on workshops and lectures, in addition to entertainment activities. The Royal Academy of Police (RAP) is organising the 6th edition of the programme in cooperation to the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan attended a lecture theme "culture app", which introduced students to Bahrain history in a bid to bolster their national identity and enrich their cultural knowledge. He then visited the Child Protection Centre and attended a lecture on drug addiction before visiting basic English classes.
In a statement today, he stressed the importance of the RAP Summer Camp which lines up scientific, cultural, sport, social and entertainment activities. He paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for his keenness on investing in youth to hone their life skills. He also extended thanks to Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa for his keen interest in youngsters' security and safety and directives to ensure the success of the summer camp and foster positive behavioural patterns among youth people.
