Archaeologists unearthed on Wednesday an ancient wall on the north of the Qubbet el-Hawa tomb in Aswan, Upper Egypt.
Mahmoud Afifi, the head of the Ancient Egyptian Antiquities Sector at the Antiquities Ministry, expected more archaeological tombs to be discovered in the area by the University of Birmingham archaeological mission.
The two-meter-high wall is made of stone and was probably built to protect the first level of tombs located in the area.
