Tourism Minister Hisham Zazou said Tuesday that a big show would be organized at the foot of Giza Pyramids by the Italian and Latvian opera houses.
The minister made the remarks following a meeting with Ambassador of Latvia to Egypt Maris Selga.
The meeting took up means to increase tourist groups coming to Egypt from the European Union.
Head of Latvian National Opera House attended the meeting.
Opera houses of the two European countries will take part in a show in mid-December marking the 145th anniversary of the Suez Canal.
The celebrations will include horse-drawn carriages to simulate the ancient Egyptian royal caravans marching from downtown Cairo to the Pyramids site in Giza.
The party is expected to give a strong push for Egyptian tourism industry, Zazou said.
