The Grand Egyptian Museum ministerial committee convened on Sunday to review all financial problems that hinder the project.
The ministers of antiquities, investment and planning and international cooperation, along with representatives of the tourism and finance ministries attended the meeting.
Antiquities Minister Mamdouh Eldamaty said the participants discussed ways to develop resources, and a proposal for opening services in order to generate income to support the project.
the committee also took note of all obstacles in order to develop an integrated vision to deal with them,and find quick solutions to allow the completion of the project as it represents a giant national project, Eldamaty added.
The meeting also discussed mechanisms to encourage foreign grants to help in completing the remaining stages of this giant project, he added.
During the meeting, Planning Minister Ashraf al-Araby confirmed the government's full support for the project.
