France announced Wednesday that it will soon be organising an important seminar in Kuwait to discuss the French language during a two-day event that is expected to bring together around 100 participants from the region, official sources said.
The French Foreign Ministry announced that it is co-sponsoring the seminar on November 10-11 with the French Institute in Kuwait.
Participants are expected from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen and those taking part will include CEOs, Education officials, and French teachers from the Gulf region.
International experts from the relevant fields will also attend and help evaluate the "added value" of the French language and "its compatibility with Arabic and English in the business world." The seminar will also examine the challenges for employment potential and those in the digital sector, as well as for training and apprenticeships, the Foreign Ministry said here.
"This seminar will be an opportunity to learn about new digital platforms for linguistic cooperation put in place by the French Institute as well as the first "trilingual Arab-French-English brand in the hotel industry," a statement indicated.
