Egyptian culture minister chairs meeting for Egyptian-Chinese culture 2015

The supreme panel on preparing and organizing the proceedings of the Egyptian-Chinese culture year 2016 held its preparatory meeting Thursday under Culture Minister Abdel Wahed el Nabawy and representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs, tourism, antiquities, youths, sports, education, the Egyptian Radio and Television Union and the cultural attache in Beijing.

This cooperation comes as a result of the support of the political leadership in the two countries with the aim of fostering cultural ties and shedding light of the civilization and culture of each nation, affirmed the culture minister.

The culture year 2016 coincides with 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and China, he added.
