EgyptAir transferred an important shipment grouping several Egyptian artifacts that were restored from London, the company chairman said on Wednesday.
The shipment contains priceless ancient pieces belonging to different Pharaonic dynasties, Pilot Sameh Hefni said in press statements.
This is the third shipment of its kind to be airlifted by the national carrier over the past period, he added. The two other shipments came from New York and Paris.
The company will transfer another shipment from Switzerland within the coming period, he said.
He said the company is on constant coordination with the ministries of antiquities, foreign and interior to bring home the rest of smuggled artifacts.
