The cabinet approved on Wednesday a request by the Antiquities Ministry to get a 482-million-dollar funding from Japan to complete the construction of the Grand Museum in Giza.
This move is part of the government's efforts to revive the tourism sector, provide more job opportunities and maintain the Egyptian culture and heritage.
The cabinet took other decisions related to electricity and development projects in Egypt.
