For the second year in a row, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has honored 500 children of those sponsored by of “A Child’s Wish Society” , in a ceremony organized by the society Sunday evening at the Movenpick Hotel, under the title "Ramadan brings us together, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ceremony was attended by Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa, the head of the Court of HRH the Prime Minister.
Shaikh Isa confirmed that His Royal Highness the Prime Minister’s honoring of these children gives an example to others in taking initiative of doing good and promoting social solidarity within the society
He praised His Royal Highness the Prime Minister’s keen interest in taking care of all members of the citizens, young or old, which stimulates all groups in society to participate in such a noble humanitarian work.
His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has set an example in philanthropy and volunteerism, and we have learned from His Highness the importance of charity work that achieves solidarity among members of the community in line with the teachings of Islam and inherent morality of Bahrain. ", he said
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali that His Royal Highness the Prime Minister has always been interested in meeting different segments of society members and communicating with them in different circumstances and situations, he added.
For her part, Ms. Manal Al Awadhi, the head President of “A Child’ s Wish Society” praised HRH the Prime Minister for his continued support to the society and its activities, which underlines his deep interest in civil society organizations that are working to improve society in different areas. She stressed that this backing pleases everyone, especially children, who are being sponsored by the society.
She also praised that HRH’s continued humanitarian initiatives and charitable intervention, which has always filled with joy the hearts of orphans and needy families in various occasions.
She also noted His Royal Highness the Prime Minister’s interest in children advancement through education, health and comprehensive care.
It is worth mentioning that the “ A child’s Wish Society was launched as a campaign since March 2012, with the aim of supporting orphans and those in need and those with chronic diseases by achieving their wishes
