The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA)'s President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa on Wednesday received the Chief Executive of Mumtalakat Holding, Mahmoud Al-Kooheji.
During the meeting, Shaikha Mai Al Khalifa has emphasized the need for mustering of collective cooperation and efforts aimed enhancement of the cultural movement and formation of strong cultural infrastructure in the Kingdom. She also briefed Al-Kooheji on latest projects in the Authority pertaining to cultural activities set to be arrayed during the Bahrain Heritage Year2015 which will be hosted with the slogan "Our Heritage... Our Wealth".
The President of the Authority cited the significant role of the private and public institutions in the Kingdom in order to activate cultural activities and preserve national antiquities and to assert Bahrain's presence as a preferred cultural and touristic destination on the world tourism map.
Al-Kooheji has praised the cultural accomplishments achieved by Ministry of Culture and its successor the BACA which continues to achieve locally, regionally and worldwide, affirming his welcoming of continual cooperation between Mumtalakat BSC and the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
