A total of 215 companies from 21 countries are expected to participate the International Equine Trade Fair, Al Fares, considered the oldest in Asia and Africa, being held from October 29th to 31st at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
The exhibition will include a dedicated booth for H.H. Sheikha Hessa bint Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum displaying her newly released book entitled, 'Tajaarub', or ‘Experiences’. The book includes Sheikha Hessa’s personal experiences and expertise on horse riding since the age of four.
The fair offers a platform for traders to showcase equine food, medicines and infrastructure for the establishment of racing centres plus any other maintenance services associated with horses and the equestrian sector. It also displays the latest new products and services for horses and riders.
The Al Fares show has registered a 38% increase in the number of exhibitors in this 2014 edition compared to the previous one.
This year’s Al Fares will host a series of exciting discussion panels and sessions concerning the equine industry, moderated by Dr. David Bradley, Medical Director, K-Laser, USA, shedding light on the latest technologies and scientific research on using laser technologies to treat horses.
The 10th edition of Al Fares will feature elite names of international players in the equine industry, including Gulf Rider and Alawani Group from the U.A.E., Rower & Rub and Waldhausen from Germany, Seven Horses from Australia, K-Laser from the USA, Royal Cavalry from Oman, Tecnozoo from Italy, and Duralock Ltd. from the U.K., among others.
