The Abdulaziz bin Humaid Leadership Programme (ALP), a first-of-its-kind programme that aims to empower talented young individuals with essential leadership qualities, unveiled the names of the 20 participants of the program’s second edition.
Hailing from across the GCC, the participants will be commencing theoretical and practical classes of the Programme following the official launch ceremony, which will be organized at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort " We are extremely delighted to be given the opportunity to sponsor the launch of this coveted event as we strongly believe in the process of nurturing talented individuals at a young age which will lead them on a path of success towards a bright future," said Michele Frignani, General Manager, Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort, on September 21, in the presence of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Programme.
Out of 496 applicants, 40 successful candidates were invited to sit for the psychometric test, following the personal interview process. Those candidates who proceed successfully through the psychometric test were selected to participate in the six-month long ALP.
The 20 candidates selected for the programme are Mohamed Al Dhaheri, Faisal Albalooshi, Hessa Al Nuaimi, Sherina Yousef, Hanifa Ahmed, Hamed Alraeesi, Abdalla Nuaman, Abdulla Al Haidan, Ahmad Al Dhawyani, Hedaya Tanesh Obaid, Maitha Al Suwaidi, Saeed Hamad Al Shaqsi and Hanan Al Hashmi (from U.A.E.), Lulwa Al Mannai and Latifa Al Khalifa (from Bahrain), Haila Al Rakaf and Nada Al Harthi (from the KSA), Zahir Al Abri and Badriya Al Mufadhli (from Oman), and Khalid Al Mahdi (from Kuwait).
Commenting on the occasion, Faisal Al Nuaimi, Head of the Committee at the ALP, said, "We are pleased to announce the final list of participants in the 2nd Abdulaziz bin Humaid Leadership Programme, following a rigorous multiphase selection process that included personal interviews and psychometric testing. Over the last few months, we have exerted great efforts to select 20 candidates from about 500 applicants. The selection process was highly competitive, with almost all the applicants having the qualities of future leaders".
The second edition of the ALP has been the first to invite applications from all GCC nationals between 25 and 35 years of age. 289 applications came from the United Arab Emirates, 50 from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 31 from Oman, 16 from Bahrain, and 10 from Kuwait.
