OPEC crude price down to $ 108.99 pb

The daily OPEC basket price went down by 78 cents to settle at USD 108.99 per barrel (pb) on Friday, compared to the day before of USD 109.77, the OPEC\'s bulletin said Monday. The average price of OPEC basket price in September amounted to USD 110.67 vis-@-vis USD 109.52 in August, the bulleting said. The new OPEC Reference Basket of crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
