Oil drops below $100 in London

Crude oil prices dropped below $100 a barrel in London and hit a one-year low in New York on Tuesday over heightened eurozone crisis concerns that have sent European stocks plunging. Brent North Sea crude for November delivery was trading $99.89 at 1140 GMT, its lowest level since August 9. New York\'s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in November, fell to $75.45 a barrel, its lowest level since September 2010.
