Kuwait crude oil prices edged higher by 39 cents on Wednesday to end the day at USD 41.79 per barrel (pb) compared with USD 41. 40 pb the day before, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Thursday.
US crudes lost four percent of their value during yesterday's trading due to fears over global oil supply surplus coupled with American crude oil stocks decline last week.
Brent oil dropped 4.6% to USD 46.26 pb while the American Western Texas Intermediate (WTI) decreased by 4.4% to USD 44.75 pb
