Head of Iran\'s Trade Promotion Organization Hamid Safdel announced on Saturday that the country has exported $20.5 billion worth of non-oil products during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21- September 22). Addressing a ceremony marking the National Day of Exports, Safdel announced that Iran exported 37 million tons of goods, including gas condensates, during the first six months of the current year. The country has exported 32 million tons of goods worth $15.6 billion, excluding gas condensates, during the said period, he added. Earlier this month, senior Iranian customs officials announced that the country\'s non-oil exports increased by 40% in the first six months of the current Iranian year. Customs Administration Director Abbas Me\'marnejad said Iran\'s non-oil exports, including gas condensates, stood at $20.48bln in the first 6 months of the current year, showing a 40% increase. According to the official, the country\'s non-oil exports mainly included gas condensates, mineral fuels, chemical products, plastics, fruits, nuts, fertilizers and carpets.
