Pourheidari noted that the figure indicates a 16-percent increase in weight and a 43-percent increase in value compared with the corresponding figure of an earlier year. Light and heavy polyethylene, gas condensates, propane, butane, benzene, and paraxylene were among major products exported during the mentioned time span, he added. Pourheidari also stressed that Iran exported $9.119 billion worth of various gas condensates from Pars Special Energy Economic Zone in Assaluyeh in the Southern province of Bushehr. Iran\'s South Pars oil and gas field exported 90mln barrels of gas condensates in the previous Iranian year, an Iranian official announced in 2011. \"The Assalouyeh oil terminal in the South Pars exported 89.1mln barrels of gas condensates, which shows a considerable growth and leap,\" Head of South Pars Oil Terminals Gholam Abbas Heidari told reporters at the time. Stressing the importance of the giant South Pars oil and gas field in the region, Heidari reiterated, \"South Pars is one of the most important oil and gas fields in the Middle-East and we have witnessed its all-out growth during the last two years.\" Downplaying the effects of the unilateral and international sanctions imposed against Iran\'s oil and gas sectors, he said that despite such embargoes, the South Pars gas field is now exporting gas condensates supplies to Japan, Singapore, China, the UAE and other Asian countries as well as the European countries, like Britain and the Netherlands.
