Halliburton Co. has failed to provide crucial information on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig, BP said Monday in a U.S. court filing.BP, the owner of the rig, said Halliburton \"intentionally destroyed\" evidence on cement testing to avoid its being used in litigation, CNN reported Monday. BP said Halliburton has failed to respond to requests for discovery and to a court order. The explosion last year on the Deepwater Horizon left 11 oil rig workers dead and set off a spill of millions of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. BP has filed an action in U.S. District Court in New Orleans seeking sanctions against Halliburton, whose Halliburton Energy Services was a contractor.A Halliburton spokeswoman said BP\'s accusations are groundless.
