Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa al Ahawani received on Wednesday Mohamed Gamal al Sa'ati, the director of countries' program at the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
The meeting was held on the sidelines of a gathering hosted by the Ministry in cooperation with Egypt's development partners including financial, Arab regional and international institutions expected to take part in Egypt's economic conference in March 2015.
The approved sending a bank technical delegation in January to draw up the final framework for the partnership strategy with Egypt for five years.
They discussed cooperation between Egypt and the Bank with Sa'ati expressing his bank's readiness to extend support for Egypt in this important stage to create more jobs, combat unemployment and develop human resources.
For her part, the minister expressed the keenness of Egypt's government on cementing cooperation with south African countries, expecting the signing of an agreement with Mozambique in the coming months to boost relations in the fields of agriculture, energy, water resources and irrigation under the umbrella of cooperation with IDB group.
