Islamic Development Bank announces nominations for 2 annual awards

The Islamic Development Bank has announced the nominations for \'\'Award of Science and Technology\" and \"Award of Women\'s Contribution to Development\" for the next year 2014, appointing November 27, 2013, as a deadline for receiving the nominations. The Bank\'s President Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali pointed out that the Award of Science and Technology is granted for scientific and technical innovations in the service of social and economic development in the Bank\'s Member States, while the Award of Women\'s Contribution to Development is granted for outstanding achievements carried out by Muslim women for the integration of women in the economic and social development as well as the service of the society.
