Hosseini said on Thursday that the Iranian banks and financial institutes are ready to cooperate with the IDB. The minister asked the IDB to provide Iranian private sector with credit lines to facilitate transactions with private sectors of the other Islamic nations. He also called on the IDB to open up more credit lines for Iran for Iranian industries and producing sector and the banks operating for industrial development. He made the remarks in a meeting with the IDB President Ahmad Mohammad Ali on the sidelines of the 37th annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank in Khartoum. Appreciating efforts to organize Khartum Meeting, Hosseini called for speeding up approval of the IDB Four-Year Cooperation Programs. During the meeting, Ahmad Ali expressed satisfaction for the level cooperation between IDB and Islamic Republic of Iran. He said that the IDB would consult with Iran on ways to accelerate implementation of the projects approved by the IDB to finance them.
