Emirates NBD (ENBD), announced on Tuesday that it had extended its reach to the fast growing residential and commercial areas in Dubai International City, with the opening of a new branch at Dragon Mart, the largest Chinese trading hub outside the mainland of China. “Customer convenience is a significant driving force at Emirates NBD, and we work across all divisions to ensure that even customers outside the city areas have easy access to all banking and financial services offered by the bank,” said Jamal Bin Ghalaita, Group Deputy CEO, Emirates NBD. “The opening of the new branch is in keeping with the long term strategy at the bank to reach out to customers across the emirate of Dubai and enhance its presence beyond the city limits,” he said. “Banking and financial services are an essential requirement for clients shopping in malls and large retail outlets,” said Abdulelah AlKindy, General Manager Retail Banking, Emirates NBD. “Establishing a branch within Dragon Mart, which is one of the largest shopping arcades in Dubai, will offer shoppers convenient access to a variety of financial services, to meet their immediate and long term requirements. As the mart is centrally located within Dubai International City, it will also be able to service our fast growing pool of residential customers in the area.” A wide range of retail banking products and services are on offer at the Dragon Mart branch including personal loans and credit cards.
