The exchange rate of the US dollar rose at the end Monday’s trading compared to Sunday’s price, weeks after the Central Bank of Egypt floated the Egyptian pound.
The dollar recorded EGP 17.55 for buying and EGP 17.75 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt against EGP 17.45 for buying and EGP 17.80 for selling on Sunday.
In Banque Misr, it hit EGP 17.57 for buying and EGP 17.85 for selling versus yesterday’s EGP 17.47 for selling and EGP 17.82 for buying.
In Banque Du Caire, it hit EGP 17.55 for buying and EGP 17.90 for selling against EGP 17.45 for buying and EGP 17.85 on Sunday.
In the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the buying price was stable at 17.55, while the selling price was EGP 17.95 compared to EGP 17.85 on Sunday.
