The Central Bank of Sudan, on Tuesday, issued a circular to all commercial banks in the country allowing extention of the period set to recover the turnover of commodities exported in cash against documents CAD, transactions, for two months in place of the one month period, previously observed.
The circular points out that the meaures comes as the central bank forcast the expected income for exporting livestocks and agricultural produce during the coming period.
It said the move was taken within the bank's effort to encourage Sudanese exports, increase their compatitiveness in the international markets, and to encourage exporters open new markets.
