South Korean electronics giant Samsung says the newest versions of its tablet computer offering, the Galaxy Tab, will go on sale in July. The Galaxy Tab 3 will go on sale in three different screen sizes; a 7-inch screen for $199, an 8-inch screen for $299 and a 10.1-inch screen for $399, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday. Pre-sales for the devices at a variety of retailers, including Best Buy and Walmart, as well as online at Samsung.com, will start Tuesday. With the purchase of a Galaxy Tab 3, Samsung will include $10 credit for the Google Play store, a 3-month subscription to the Hulu Plus video streaming service and 2-years of 50 gigabytes of online storage from Dropbox. Color options will include white and gold-brown, while internal storage can be bumped up to 64 gigabytes courtesy of a microSD card slot. Galaxy Tab 3 models sold in the United States will be WiFi-only, with no cellular capability.
