Zain Saudi Arabia has launched a new smartphone application in collaboration with Shaikh Mishary Al-Afasy.
The announcement follows a meeting between Shaikh Al-Afasy and the company’s CEO Peter Kaliaropoulos at the Zain headquarters in Riyadh. Top Zain executives also took part in the talks.
Shaikh Mishary thanked Zain Saudi Arabia for its cooperation in launching the application.
He praised the company’s efforts to provide the latest technologies in line with rapid developments in the telecommunication world.
The new app provides a wide range of Islamic content from Shaikh Al-Afasy’s rich audio and video library.
The content includes various sections such as the Holy Qur’an and supplications. The app also provides prayer times, Qibla and ringtones.
Zain customers can subscribe to enjoy a free one-month trial of Shaikh Mishary Al-Afasy app by sending (2) to (706799). They will receive a link to download the app.
The app supports both iOS and Android operating systems.
