A new video uploaded on YouTube claims to reveal the design and specifications of Apple’s iPhone 5. As reported by Emirates 24/7 yesterday (http://www.emirates247.com/business/apple-s-iphone-5-coming-soon-to-a-store-near-you-2012-03-25-1.450284), rumours are rife that the first batch of new iPhone will definitely ship out of Apple’s gates this year. While Apple hasn’t revealed the launch date yet, those who’ve mastered the guessing game on Apple Inc.’s product lineups are fairly sure it will be in fall this year – that makes it around September or October 2012 – although the ‘other’ set of rumour mill suggests a June launch. Moreover, after a small hop from the iPhone 4 to the 4S in 2011, analysts expect Apple to make a quantum jump, technically speaking, with the new iPhone. If this latest video on YouTube is indeed genuine, then all the rumours about the new iPhone having a larger screen (4.6-inch long) are correct. According to newswire Reuters, the new iPhone will have a sharper (a la the new iPad) and bigger 4.6-inch ‘retina’ display and is set to be launched around the second quarter. Additionally, the new iPhone might also come equipped with an upgraded 4G LTE technology (again, a la the new iPad). The speed would be 10 times faster than the 3G, say enthusiasts. That said, there has been no official confirmation on the release date, specs, or even the design of the new iPhone from Apple Inc. These rumours might still have some truth in them, but they remain just rumours at this time. Have a look at this YouTube video and decide for yourself.
