Iran is due to hold the International Forum on Nanotechnology Economy (IFNE2013) at the IRIB International Conference Center (IICC) in Tehran from October 2 to 3. The Forum\'s organizers seek to familiarize specialists with issues related to economical aspects of nanotechnology, including commercialization, joint ventures, risk management, technology diffusion, valuation and marketing as well as to promote knowledge and experience exchange between national and international experts and investors. Experts will discuss the main challenges facing the development of nanotechnology in the country under seven main themes: · Venture investment in nanotechnology fields · Valuation of emerging companies working on nanotechnology · Joint meeting between the nanotechnology companies and investment firms · Opportunities and challenges faced by the existing industries which use nanotechnology · Transfer of experience from the reputable companies to the emerging ones · Marketing of nanotechnology products · Branding nanotechnology products At these meetings, each note-speaker will deliver his/her speech for 15 minutes and share his/her experiences.
