The food truckers fever is catching up fast in the UAE with trucks becoming a routine sight in mega exhibitions and events in the country.
Cashing in on the foodies at Gitex Shopper, food truckers have put their stalls for the shoppers and exhibitors during the eight-day exhibition.
Food truckers have presence at different locations in Dubai such as Palm Jumeirah, Dubai-Abu Dhabi Highway and number of other different locations in the country.

Most of the visitors to these food truckers are the foodies who want to taste different flavours.
Alexandre Teodoresco, the Founder of Truckers DXB, said food truck culture was "already doing really well in Europe and the US so it was only natural that we build it here too. After two very successful seasons, we were always stuck with no place to go during the hot months of summer.
The trucks would typically be parked inside the warehouse. This is how we got the idea of creating an experience where we let our followers come inside the warehouse and still enjoy the food trucks. This was the idea behind the Truckers Summer Warehouse."
Founder of Truckers DXB had held the show during the summer at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Commenting on what made him believe that this venture will become successful, Teodoresco says "there are no such experiences in Dubai during summer. Nobody has converted a full hall of the World Trade Center into a giant food court of Food Trucks. So we felt that all the foodies who are staying in Dubai during summer would really enjoy this new type of event."
