Executive Director of the the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) Amr Adly said on Wednesday that talks were held with several British educational institutions during the past period to discuss ways of making use of the "Newton-Mosharafa" cooperation protocol.
More training courses would be held during the coming period over the use of scientific research in the industrial field here, Adly said.
He added that this comes as part of the ongoing endeavors to give a boost to the Egyptian economy.
The Newton-Mosharafa Fund is meant to bring together the British and Egyptian scientific research and innovation sectors to find joint solutions to the economic and social challenges facing Egypt.
