The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has got the second place in the modern systems of geospatial information among the 32 universal participation at the 2015 Esri International User Conference held recently in San Diego, California, USA, in the presence of 16 thousand visitors from around the world.
The ADFCA's winning of this position comes through the presentation of its programme and system in the international awards for modern systems, where Geospatial Information Systems of the authority have been displayed over 3 days for evaluation by visitors.
Thamer Al Qasimi, Acting Director of Communications and Community Service said that this award is a culmination of the distinctive work of the ADFCA in all areas such as electronic services and other services.
He added that the authority continuously and constantly seeks to provide better services to the community in food safety by providing an easier means and methods and using modern technology and technology of information to achieve the overall satisfaction by the public.
