Etisalat is offering new ‘Summer promotion’ for both pre-paid and post-paid customers on roaming voice calls and data usage. The weekly packs are charged at a fixed amount offering tremendous value with calls charged as low as Dh3 per minute Outgoing roaming calls within GCC countries will continue to be charged at a special pay-as-you-go rate of Dh2.4 per minute. “Most of our customers cannot wait for this time of year when they can take a hard-earned break and travel abroad for holidays. Our new roaming promotion is designed to enhance their travel experience by giving them peace of mind while using their mobile phone,” Matthew Willsher, Chief Marketing Officer at Etisalat, said. He said the new roaming voice and data promotions, which took effect from yesterday, are packed with value for every dirham spent on making calls, checking emails or accessing the internet. Both pre-paid and post-paid customers continue to enjoy rates as low as Dh1 per minute on roaming incoming voice calls in more than 190 countries globally. To suit customers’ need and preference, Etisalat offers three packs with 30 minutes for Dh60, 100 minutes for Dh150 or 200 minutes for Dh200. The telecom operator has also launched a new global weekly pack of 35MB for Dh150 for Wasel prepaid and postpaid data users. Customers can also enjoy additional data volume with a revamped global daily data roaming pack of 10MB for a reduced price of Dh50 throughout the summer promo period.
