The Royal University for Women (RUW) has held its ninth graduation ceremony.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President delegated SCW Deputy President Dr. Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al-Khalifa to attend the ceremony.
Dr. Shaikha Mariam hailed the role of the university in purveying the local and Gulf labour market with competences that serve society and enhance the standing of women as an essential partner at work, on par with men.
She commended the successive RUW batches of graduates who contribute to integrating women in national development, hailing the role of the management and board trustees for turning the university into one of the most important specialized academic milestones in Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf region.
Dr. Shaikha Mariam then presented 139 BA graduates with certificates, in the presence of representative of the management and board of trustees Walid Al-Zamil and RUW president Professor Mazin Mohammed Jumaa.
